Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2026. This policy covers myvitalbenefits.com and communications from Vital Benefits ("Vital Benefits," "we," "us").
Information we collect
When you submit a form, call us, or work with an agent, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, state and ZIP code, the kind of coverage you are interested in, and the contents of your communications with us. If you proceed to a quote or application, an agent may collect additional information required by the insurance carrier for that purpose.
Our website also collects standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring links, including through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, connect you with a licensed agent, provide quotes and enrollment assistance for the plans we represent, send communications you have consented to receive, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and improve our website and services.
Text messaging
If you check a consent box on our forms and provide a mobile number, Vital Benefits may send you text messages of the kind you selected: non-marketing messages about your quote, application, appointments, and documents; marketing messages about plan options, enrollment periods, and service updates; or both. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver the messages through our messaging service providers.
How we share information
We share information with service providers who operate our website, customer relationship, and communication systems on our behalf; with insurance carriers when you ask us to obtain a quote or submit an application; and where required by law, regulation, or legal process. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and security
We keep records, including consent records, for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and regulatory retention requirements that apply to insurance agencies. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, opt out of marketing email through the unsubscribe link in any message, and request access to or correction of your information by contacting us at [email protected].
Notice at collection
For residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California: we collect the categories of personal information described above (identifiers, contact information, coverage interests, communications, and internet activity) for the business purposes described above. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.
