Coverage decisions are easier with a licensed agent on your side.
Vital Benefits helps individuals and families compare health, life, and Medicare coverage from the carriers we represent. We explain the differences in plain language and handle the paperwork from quote to enrollment.
Most people call us at one of four moments.
Each one comes with its own deadlines and options. Here is where to start.
Turning 65 or new to Medicare
Advantage, Supplement, or Original Medicare with Part D. We walk through what changes for your doctors and prescriptions, and which enrollment window you are in.
Medicare optionsBuying your own health plan
Self-employed, between jobs, or early retired. We check whether marketplace subsidies apply to you and compare individual and family plans.
Health coverage under 65Protecting your family
Term or permanent life insurance sized to real obligations: a mortgage, income replacement, or final expenses. No more than you need.
Life insuranceAlready enrolled
Plans change every year, and so do prescriptions and doctors. A yearly review checks that your coverage still fits your health and your budget.
Book an annual reviewWe work for you, and we say so in writing.
Multiple carriers, one conversation
Because we are contracted with more than one company, we can put options side by side instead of pitching a single product.
Paid by the carrier, not by you
Our help costs you nothing. When you enroll, the insurance company pays our commission, and your premium is the same as enrolling direct.
Honest about our limits
We do not offer every plan in your area. If what you need sits outside what we represent, we tell you and point you to Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE.
Three steps, no pressure.
Tell us about you
Thirty seconds on the Get Started form, or a phone call. You choose how we follow up.
Talk with a licensed agent
We review your situation, your doctors, and your prescriptions. Plan on 20 to 30 minutes.
See your options
Clear choices from the plans we represent, explained without jargon, with no obligation to enroll.
Straight answers before you call.
What does it cost to work with Vital Benefits?
Nothing. When you enroll in a plan, the insurance company pays our agents a commission. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through an agent or directly with the carrier.
Do you offer every plan in my area?
No. We represent a specific set of carriers and plans, and any information we provide is limited to those plans. For a complete list of options in your area, contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE.
Will you push me toward a particular plan?
Our job is to lay out the options we represent and explain the trade-offs. You decide. There is no obligation to enroll after a conversation, and we will say plainly if something outside our lineup is a better fit.
What should I have ready for the first call?
A list of your doctors, your current prescriptions with dosages, and, for Medicare, your red, white, and blue Medicare card if you have it. If you do not have everything, that is fine. We can start without it.
Where are you licensed?
Our agents are licensed in Texas. Our office is at 1500 Waugh Dr, Houston, TX 77019. We can meet by phone, video, or in person.
